As of 2026, the landraces stewarded on our farm include Shetland Hen, Swedish Flower Hen, Ölandsk Dwarf, Svart Hona, Icelandic, and the Vale of Haspengouw. Images on this page offer examples of breeds you may receive. Each assortment is packed according to current egg production and hatch availability, so no two orders are identical. We will add different colored leg bands to the different landraces so that you will be able to confidently identify them. Pricing reflects the cost per day-old chick and you may order as few as one or as many as you wish.
Orders of 1–3 chicks are guaranteed to include one breed; orders of 4–5 will include at least two breeds; and orders of 6 or more will include a minimum of three different breeds. We always strive to include as much variety as possible. You are welcome to mix and match breeds or assortments to meet our six-chick shipping minimum.
