About
We have carefully curated this assortment with breeds known for their ability to thrive in seasonally hot climates. It is an ideal selection for customers who experience long, intense summers and want birds that are naturally better suited to elevated temperatures.
While these breeds are recognized for their heat tolerance, proper care remains essential. Fresh, clean water and ample shaded areas should always be provided to ensure your flock can stay cool and comfortable during periods of extreme heat.

Orders of 1–3 chicks or eggs are guaranteed to include one breed; orders of 4–5 will include at least three breeds; and orders of 6 or more will include a minimum of four different breeds. We always strive to include as much variety as possible. You are welcome to mix breeds and assortments to meet our six-chick shipping minimum.
