I have found a new one this summer since my husband has started keeping rabbits. A stingless wasp that eats fly larvae and effectively stops the fly life cycle. Have to use enough of the wasps for the area to be covered but they work great. I have had no flies in the rabbit shed! You can buy the wasps from severals sites on the internet either by month or pay for the entire summer months and they send you new shipment every month during the warm months. Love your ideas.
